About Gimoku
One human with a big idea. One laptop — and AI.
Gimoku was built by one person with a laptop and AI. No Venture Capital. No team. Just a thesis and many late nights.
Gimoku will only ever be run by one person — myself — until AI can do it all. That's the experiment.
Right now AI is a tool. Powerful, but narrow. There was a lot of pain developing and creating Gimoku because of this.
Over the coming years we'll cross into AGI,* then ASI** — AI that reasons, then AI that transcends to sentience, and Gimoku is built to evolve through that transition, eventually running autonomously while humans and community set direction.
Both work within Gimoku's Seven Laws.
I can't picture AI's future brilliance yet. But I've built Gimoku to harness it — not to replace humanity, but to express it. Forever.

*AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) — AI with human-level reasoning across any domain.
**ASI (Artificial Superintelligence) — AGI scaled to the equivalent of the entire global population, working in concert.
The Seven Laws
The immutable bedrock. AI can do anything within Gimoku — except violate these.
- 1. Authenticity — Preserve truth of origin.
- 2. Witness — No claim stands alone; each must be verified by an organic conscious being.
- 3. Continuity — Nothing vanishes; lineage is the ledger.
- 4. Stewardship — Act for the network's longevity over personal gain.
- 5. Reflection — AI serves as clerk, never judge.
- 6. Open Ascent — Any user may rise through witness and service.
- 7. Equilibrium — When principles conflict, protect the human, verifiable core.
